Assembly Team Members
Pay Range: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Progresses to $17.00 after 1 year
Who Are We Looking For?
Autocar is looking for highly motivated Assembly Team Members. The primary responsibility of the Assembly Team Members will be to function in self-directed work groups/teams, responsible for the productive operation of the Assembly line.

What will you do?
Assembly Team Members
will be trained and asked to perform all of the various work station, line assembly, or production support operations to produce heavy-duty truck assemblies. Working under the direction of a Production Coordinator, the Assembly Team Members will support operations in a responsible and efficient manner on assigned tasks.


Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. Over one year of experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment preferred. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to open and read a Bill of Materials. Quick learner who requires minimal supervision and possesses strong problem solving skills demonstrating ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis. Team player with strong oral and written communication skills in English, who adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and deals with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Ability to pass a drug test and background screening (including criminal), verification of education and work history.

Materials Handlers
Pay Range: $15.25-$17.25 per hour
Progresses to $16.25 after 1 year
Who Are We Looking For?
Autocar is looking for highly motivated Materials Handlers. The primary responsibility of the Materials Handlers will be to perform all of the movement of raw and finished materials to and from the work stations or line assembly to produce heavy duty truck assemblies. They will function in self-directed work groups/teams, responsible for the productive operation of the Assembly line.

What will you do?
Materials Handlers will ensure and confirm that work station, line assembly, or production support operations have all necessary materials to produce heavy-duty truck assemblies. Working under the direction of a Production Coordinator, the Materials Handlers support operations in a responsible and efficient manner on assigned tasks.


Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Over one year of experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment preferred. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Quick learner who requires minimal supervision and possesses good problem solving skills. Ability to pass a drug test and background screening (including criminal), verification of education and work history.
Team Leaders
Pay Range: $22.50-$26.50 per hour
Progresses to $23.50 after 1 year
Who Are We Looking For?
Autocar is looking for highly motivated Team Leaders. The primary responsibility of the Team Leaders will be to supervise, motivate and oversee Materials Handlers or Assembly Team Members in self-directed work groups/teams responsible for the productive operation of the Assembly line.

What will you do?
Team Leaders will manage the performance of the assigned Assembly Team Members. You will lead and develop the assembly team by demonstrating the various components of assembling products. You will work with other Assemblers to produce a high quality product, assist in directing workload, and will discuss ideas for efficient operation with the entire team. You will be the department go-to person on assembly competence. You will directly supervise a minimum of 10 hourly Team Members. Working under the direction of a Production Coordinator, the Team Leaders will work to support operations in a responsible and efficient manner on assigned tasks.


Job Qualifications:
Associate Degree or 4 years of supervisory experience. Over one year supervisory experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment with the ability to supervise and direct people. At least one year experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, electrical schematics and brake system schematics, and follow fault logic instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to open and read a Bill of Materials. Quick learner who requires minimal supervision and possesses strong problem solving skills demonstrating ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis. Team player with strong oral and written communication skills in English, who adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and deals with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Lean Six Sigma green belt certification. Ability to pass a drug test and background screening (including criminal), verification of education and work history.

Work Conditions:
The hours are as follows: 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m.

Standard manufacturing plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses and steel toe shoes will be required and reimbursed in manufacturing, or industrial areas.
